AWAAZ is a registered charity that provides a range of service to individuals from the BME and new emerging communities. The organisation also provides self directed support for individuals from the BME communities.
Our funders include Nottingham City Council, European Social Fund and The Big Lottery Fund.
Wellness in mind
AWAAZ is subcontracted to deliver a BME Culturally specific outreach service part of the Wellness in Mind service.
INDEPENDENT LIVING SUPPORT SERVICES
AWAAZ provides a culturally specific independent Living Support Services which is funded by Nottingham City Council.
OPPORTUNITY NOTTINGHAM – MULTIPLE COMPLEX NEEDS SERVICE – BME ASSERTIVE OUTREACH
We are a Partner of the Opportunity Nottingham service. This service supports individuals facing multiple and complex needs in Nottingham City. We deliver the culturally specific element of this service. We support individuals with different beliefs, religious views and cultural needs.

Building Better Opportunities - Towards Work
AWAAZ is one of a partnership of local organisations delivering the Groundwork Greater Nottingham, Towards Work, Building Better Opportunities programme across Derbyshire, Nottingham and Nottinghamshire, jointly funded by the D2N2 Local Enterprise Partnerships's European Social Fund (ESF) allocation and the Big Lottery Fund.

Building Better Opportunities – Opportunity and Change
As part of the national Building Better Opportunities programme, AWAAZ is working with BME (Black, Minority and Ethnic Groups) Communities in Nottingham who face multiple challenges and barriers in their life.
The programme brings opportunities to people who are furthest from the labour market - opening up doors for training, volunteering and employment in their local area.
